Roster news - Emil Heineman continues to skate on his own and work one-on-one with director of hockey development Adam Nicholas as he recovers from injury. Carey Price visited his surgeon while the Canadiens were in New York City. Price started the final game of the season.

Habs prospect report - Laval Rocket have clinched a playoff spot. Trois Rivieres Lions  have begun their playoff series with the Newfoundland Growlers. Habs news and notes: A state funeral will be held for Guy Lafleur on Tuesday May 3. Head equipment manager Pierre Gervais retired after a 35 year career. Carey Price was  named in the NHLPA player's poll. Carey Price is the Canadiens’ nominee for the Bill Masterton Memorial Trophy. Alexander Romanov was awarded the Jacques Beauchamp-Molson Trophy.

Segment 2: BIG Topic - Closing A Chapter, Opening the Next

On Friday night, the Montreal Canadiens ended a tumultuous season that included injuries, a pandemic, firings, hirings, numerous dubious records and a 32nd place finish.

The next step for the players was to clean out lockers and sit down for their exit meetings with management. 

The Montreal Canadiens' management has a great deal of work to do in the off-season including preparing for the NHL Entry Draft, signing their RFAs and new UFAs, and improving their salary cap situation by trading bad contracts. The off-season begins today!
