Roster news - The Canadiens signed goaltender Samuel Montembeault and Rem Pitlick to two-year, one-way contract extensions.

Habs prospect report - The Laval Rocket signed forward Emile Poirier and goaltenders Philippe Desrosiers and Joe Vrbetic to a one-year, two-way AHL contracts and signed defenceman Alex Green, forward Gabriel Bourque and goaltender Kevin Poulin to one-year, one-way AHL contracts. Canadiens prospects Luke Tuch, Blake Biondi and Lane Hutson have been invited to the NJEC by USA Hockey.
