- Roster news - Tyler Toffoli out with a lower body injury, was not scheduled to play all three games against Edmonton. Joel Armia and Jesperi Kotkaniemi on the NHL's COVID protocol list. The Canadiens have acquired Eric Staal from the Buffalo Sabres in exchange for a third and a fifth round pick in the 2021 NHL Draft.
- Habs prospect report - Jordan Harris has chosen to return to Northeastern for his senior year. NCAA Regional tournaments began on Friday with Habs prospects participating: Cole Caufield, Jack Gorniak, Blake Biondi, Arvid Henrikson, Luke Tuch. Bemidji State upset Wisconsin 6-3 on Friday to end the tournament for Caufield and Gorniak and coach Tony Granato. Check out The Press Zone - Montreal.
- Marc Bergevin media availability this week regarding the COVID situation and game postponements.
- NHL News - Referee Tim Peel will no longer work games now or in the future. NHL players moving from the United States to Canada will now be required to only quarantine for seven days, down from 14.
- Sean Burke, Director of Goaltending, has his first media availability.
